Admissions
Dear Families,
Thank you for valuing Catholic education and choosing St. Francis of Assisi School. We are excited to prepare for next school year with you!
At St. Francis of Assisi School, our Catholic identity is not simply a religion class; it is the foundation of everything we do. Rooted in the Gospel, we partner with families to form children who learn, love, and serve like Jesus. Inspired by our patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi, we strive to form students who are joyful witnesses to the Gospel. Our school community emphasizes reverence for God, respect for every person, and a spirit of service. Students are taught to live their faith through kindness, stewardship, and love.
Alongside our strong Catholic identity, we offer a rigorous academic program. Our dedicated faculty, staff, and administration partner closely with parents because we recognize that families are the primary educators of their children. Together, we work to form young people who are prepared academically, grounded spiritually, and equipped to make thoughtful, faith-filled choices in the world.
We are so blessed in Ohio to have numerous scholarship opportunities for families to attend the school of their choice. At St. Francis of Assisi School, we leverage these opportunities to make a quality Catholic education affordable for every family.
Although our cost to educate will increase with additional staff members, increasing salaries, and the addition of programs, tuition will remain at $7,600 per student.
Every family is encouraged to apply for scholarships. All scholarships applications must be filed by the deadline dates – no exceptions. No award will be given unless an application is filed by the deadline date.
Registration is considered complete when the student has fulfilled the shadowing requirement and the following is submitted to the school office: (1) registration paperwork; (2) full transcripts [ie. test scores, ETR/IEP (if applicable), discipline reports]; (3) $100 registration fee per child; and (4) $30 PTSO fee per family. Beginning on February 25, 2026, prospective families will be notified if their child is accepted into our school. If you have questions regarding tuition, tuition payment plans, or applying for financial assistance, please contact Mr. Jim O’Reilly in the Parish Business Office at (440) 461-0066 or Mrs. Coletta Welsh at [email protected].
The birthday deadline for preschool and kindergarten students is August 31. Letters will be sent to families on February 25, 2026 of their acceptance in the program.
If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact Mrs. Cindy Daugherty at (440) 442-7450.
May the grace of Jesus Christ be with you,
Mrs. Herman
