​St. Francis of Assisi School has a more than 70 year history of educating our future Catholic and community leaders. We are authentically Catholic while striving for academic excellence. We value weekly Mass, prayer opportunities, faith families, and the arts while integrating technology to enhance our classroom work. We have served families for generations and welcome new families to our 390 student pre-kindergarten through eighth grade Catholic School. We are supported by dedicated teachers, generous parents, and a strong parish.


We are searching for a principal who will build on our strong foundation and lead our growing school into the future. We are looking for candidates with: a strong Catholic faith, visionary leadership, data driven instructional expertise, the ability to build strong relationships, fostering a positive school culture, and being a visible, decisive communicator and problem-solver, focusing on student success through care, collaboration and high expectations.

Salary is commensurate with experience; includes full benefits

Be an intentional disciple of Jesus, a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or related field.

Possess a valid Ohio Elementary Principal License.

Demonstrate successful teaching and leadership experience.

Possess or be willing to obtain Catechetical Leader Certification.

Demonstrate knowledge of school finance, curriculum leadership, and personnel management.

Exhibit integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative leadership style consistent with Catholic education.


Relationships

Reports directly to the Pastor.

Works collaboratively with the diocesan Office of Catholic Education.

Supervises and serves all faculty and staff.

Collaborates with parish ministries and parent organizations.
